14 Mar 17:30 - 20:30 - Stockholm
Impact Hub Stockholm
We're back with another inspiring event. If you are joining us for the first time, we gather every month to meet and hear from up-and-coming entrepreneurs, non-profit organizations, multinational corporations and more who use food as a vehicle for driving positive change in the world. Together we're a driving force for challenging the status quo and discovering new innovations to create a more sustainable future.
What do you eat? How does your diet reflect your values? This Stockholm Food Movement we will examine food choices by looking at the ethics of eating animals, ways to save money and reduce food waste by creating new dishes from leftovers, and learning about "Diet for a Green Planet" that aims to improve the food served to kindergartens, schools, and nursing homes in Södertalje. As a bonus we will also learn about MatLust, a 5-year EU funded program with a network of over 1000 individuals aiming to help SMEs in the food industry of Sweden develop and grow!
Doors open at 17.30 and we invite you to bring food to share – a new and innovative brand you’ve discovered or even something homemade! Then at 18.00 we will kick off the night by introducing #SthlmFoodMovement and hear from our wonderful speakers about their experiences and challenges in creating a better society using food as the vehicle for change. Stay with us afterwards for casual networking to foster new friendships, connections and opportunities for collaboration.
